farewell to zone!
this is a very sad day for us. we have to resign our positions as zone directors and leave the clan. this was not an easy decision to make. we feel that zone is moving in a direction that we are not comfortable with and see no way of changing that.
we had talked about just leaving and going our separate ways, perhap joining other clans or staying freelance for a while. but we realized that we have a responsibility to any other members in zone that feel as we do. so we will be starting a new clan that will hopefully be more aligned with our values. this is not the place to discuss those details, but they will be forthcoming shortly.
we apologize for disappointing you and hope that you remember our all too short time with zone fondly.

when i first came to the realization that resignation was the only solution to what i perceived as problems with zone, i had every intention of writing a fire and brimstone, come to jesus indictment of the people i felt responsible. but now that it's time to put those words down, i don't have it in me. zone has been so important to me and i have made so many friends that now all i want to do is apologize for letting you down. i made so many commitments to so many people and i'm not able to keep them. it tears me up to quit but i don't see any other option. to all my friends in zone, i wish you all well.

I regret that it has come down to this, but feel there is little that can be done. As many of you know, I have worked hard to help Zone and Zone members, and to create a sense of community. I'm sorry to be leaving that behind; but, at this point, leaving is the only option.

Since I first became involved as a Director, my intentions have always been for the good of ZoNe. I had hopes that working with the other Directors, that together we could bring about positive changes that would make our gaming experience more pleasurable and bring us closer as a clan. This no longer seems possible. ZoNe continues to move in a direction that I’m no longer comfortable with nor wish to be part of. Discussion of any of those issues is not appropriate at this point and serves no ones best interests. If anyone has any questions, feel free to comment here or DM me personally.
The decision to resign has proven to be very difficult and one I never thought I'd have to make nor would make. I'm saddened and heartbroken beyond measure for being unable to honor commitments that I made to friends and members here. Unfortunately, I don’t see any other viable option.
To my friends and to all members of ZoNe, please accept my sincerest apologies. I wish you all Peace, Joy, Love, Happiness and many Blessings now and in the future.

Former zone member myself, now a very proud member of the hounrable Phoenix! I myself have seen the path/direction zone as taken. Luckily for us the great and good that were you three as directors decided to stand to attention and lead the disillusioned amongst us into the light of the Phoenix, our revival. I would like to thank you for all you did while I was part of zone I know without you it will be a much darker place. Never forget your actions are commendable and hounrable!

Jason, thanks for your constant support through this. We all appreciate your consistency, honesty and character. I could dwell on the negatives of why we left, but choose to move forward... the truth will come out, it always does.
I am pleased you have decided to join us. Welcome to Phoenix. Whether we are ten or a hundred and ten, we will play with honor and principles... what a nice change of pace that will be!

My support was nothing compared to your and the other directors actions. Very proud to be a card carring member of Phoenix. Size never matters its the principle that binds the community together. Very happy to serve you and the hourable Phoenix.

I'm not sure if it's my place to comment on this..
So on a personal note:
I haven't been playing this game very long,
but it wasn't too long after starting that estfeed "rose to the top" of
my "keep an eye on" list, where he's remained ever since.
Not sure what-all's going on,
but from where I'm, standing,
it appears to me that somebody dropped the ball when they let him get away
("Worthy Adversary", indeed).

we really Miss you too mk you know your always welcome back in the zone, the remaining 300ish zone members and new staff in the zone are sorry to see y'all leave but this begins a new chapter in the Zone.

we want SM to be likened to sitting down after dinner with friends, clearing the table putting out the board game enjoying a lovely evening with friends and at the end we all leave looking forward to the next time we play.
We at Zone feel we are a premier cell experience. we have a few simple rules of conduct
CODE OF CONDUCT:
1) Zone members will play within the rules of the game.
2) Zone member will treat ALL players, both in and out of Zone, with the same respect.
3) If a Zone member learns of questionable conduct by another Zone member, they will bring it to the Zone directorate to investigate.
4) Friendship with non-zone members is highly encouraged (we love our Frienemies!) but should not interfere with the execution of zone strategies.
5) Zone accepts and encourages players at all levels. Play as much or as little as you like, but please keep your commitments if you accept a zone mission.
6) It's a spy game and we love spying, but we do not love traitors. Joining Zone is a commitment to not pass Zone intel to non-Zone players (no matter how many sweet things they post on your dossier!)

pod, all cells could benefit by reading and following zone's code of conduct. i think we especially need to reinforce to our fellow players that it is a game. we can be fierce competitors on the field and get together off the field and enjoy each others company.
this is an exciting time for spymaster. lots of new cells and lots of new players. opportunities for new strategies and new friends. good luck to all my friends in zone and other cells throughout spymaster.

Well Said Bob, that's just part of the Zones new charter and it's a work in progress we are trying to minimize some of the drama and make the game fun again for all.
